Now just having a NAS to use as target for my FreeFileSync would be fine, but I want realtime sync for my documents, preferrably also from outside my network (so if I work on thinks on my Laptop away from home, turn it off and turn on my PC, I want the changes to be there). Start RealtimeSync.

In addition, I also use OneDrive to get my Photos and other larger files available from everywhere. Then I regularly plug in my PC to a external HDD and use FreeFileSync to backup all files on the PC (including the synced files from ownCloud).
